Overlooking the sea
The promontory of Capo Vaticano reaches a maximum height of 124 meters and is made up of a special white-gray granite, studied all over the world for its geological characteristics. A lighthouse with a cylindrical tower has been installed on the promontory since 1870.

Capo Vaticano hides dozens of tiny beaches, many reachable only by swimming or by boat.
The Aeolian Islands, the Strait of Messina, Etna.
On clear days it is possible to admire some of the rarest beauties of all southern Italy: Etna and then the Strait of Messina and all the Aeolian Islands. Vulcano, Lipari, Salina and Filicudi, Panarea and Basiluzzo rock and finally Stromboli. Only Alicudi remains hidden from the eyes behind the island of Salina.
